Marine’s glory run is conjuring up memories of their wonderful FA Trophy past – just ask super fan and club historian Barry Lenton!
Lenton has supported the Mariners for more than 60 years and has even penned two books – the first marking the club’s 125th anniversary and ‘Come on Marine’, which is a more personal account of supporting the National League North outfit – on their illustrious history.
Their 1-0 victory over National League Woking last weekend saw Bobby Grant’s side into the Trophy semi-finals for the first time since 1992.
