Nathan Mavila secures Canada move

The 23-year-old will be playing in the first ever season of the newly formed Canadian Premier League.

Nathan Mavila

Dulwich Hamlet have announced that defender Nathan Mavila has left the club to join Alberta based side Cavalry FC in the newly formed Canadian Premier League.
Mavila will move to Canada having gained plenty of footballing experience in England, representing the likes of Aldershot Town, Cambridge City and Wealdstone after coming through the academy structure at West Ham.

After making 24 appearances for the Beavers this year, Mavila embarked on his short stint with Dulwich last month.
Cavalry, who are managed by former Swindon and Torquay defender Tommy Wheelon, were only founded nine months ago and are yet to play a competitive fixture.
They will embark on their journey when the inaugural season of the Canadian Premier League kicks off in April of this year.
The league, which so far consists of seven teams, will contain a few former Non-League players including ex Whitley Bay forward Tomi Ameobi and striker Stephen Hoyte, who previously turned out for Ossett Town.
