NEITHER of these two promoted teams were happy with the outcome. Havant failed for the 13th time to win on the opening day and Chippenham had three penalty claims ignored.
Chippenham had the better of the early exchanges, Jake Andrews having his effort blocked by keeper Ryan Young.
However, minutes later Alfie Rutherford saw his attempt saved by home keeper Jared Thompson.
The Bluebirds’ Dave Pratt had the ball in the back of the net only for the flagman to claim he was offside.
