WESTON had Jake Reid and Dayle Grubb to thank for taking a point.
Weston threatened early on when Jake Lee’s header was tipped over by Jared Thompson. Chippenham also failed to convert two crosses.
Chippenham did take the lead just before the half-hour when Dave Pratt was set clear. As Luke Purnell tried to close the angle, the veteran striker slotted the home.
