IF THE mark of a good team is how they respond to defeat, then Alan Lewer will have reason to be particularly satisfied with this win.
Having surpassed their manager’s expectations with a fine start to the season, Southport were beaten for the first time on Bank Holiday Monday after conceding a late goal at Salford.
