Bentley drives Poole to rare win

POOLE finally got their first home win at the halfway point of the season.
The Dolphins took the lead when Warren Bentley made a strong run down the left and was taken down by Luke Purwell. After a delay for the injury, Steve Devlin stepped up to convert the penalty.
Poole doubled their lead just before halftime when Weston gave the ball away in their half and Bentley took his time before finishing strongly.
Weston were like a different team in the second half – full of pace and threat and Poole spent most of the half defending.
