PATERSON LEADS THE WAY FOR SUPER CITY

CITY fought off a resilient Hungerford to claim a vital win thanks to goals from Matt Paterson and Rob Sinclair.
The visitors were by far the better side in the first half and managed to hold off a Hungerford fightback in the second.
Paterson smashed against the bar early on for Oxford before Hungerford striker Alex Wall went off with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Luke Hopper.
Paterson gave the visitors the lead on 30 minutes when his longrange strike flew into the top corner.
