Late penalty leads Lambs to slaughter

CRAIG Westcarr’s late penalty saw Alfreton come from behind to beat ten-man Tamworth and claim a third win in four games.
Tamworth, who sacked Andy Morrell last week, had given caretaker boss Mike Fowler a great start to his tenure as Darryl Knights fired them in front.
But ex-Lamb Brendan Daniels levelled and Andy Burns was then harshly dismissed before the break.
Tamworth showed spirit after half-time but were denied a point by Westcarr’s late penalty.
