ST ALBANS CITY left it late as they scored twice in added time to pick up an important win.
It was the visiting Bluebirds who started the brighter and struck the woodwork 48 seconds in when Jake Jackson’s glancing header hit the bar.
Saints stopper Dean Snedker continued to be the busier of the two goalkeepers, denying Khaid Mohamed before making a full stretch save to keep out a venomous Jackson drive.
St Albans almost took the lead late in the first half, but Sam Merson’s header from a corner was cleared off the line.
