CAPTAIN Jamie Whisken led by example to earn Poole Town a huge win in their fight for survival.
A sleepy start came to an end when Dartford captain Elliot Bradbrook flicked a header into the hands of Nick Hutchings before Warren Bentley fired his shot wide of the mark for the visitors.
Bentley then caused more trouble for the Darts forcing a low save from Bertie Schotterl after escaping his man six minutes later.
Poole had the best chance of the half when Marvin Brooks’ leftfooted effort cannoned off the bar.
