A JASON PRIOR goal saw Havant & Waterlooville edge City in a tight game at Marsh Lane, the win taking them to the top of the league after Dartford’s defeat.
The visitors had the first chance as Bradley Tarbuck struck powerfully on the turn from outside the box, forcing City keeper Craig King into a fine save to keep the score level.
As the half wore on both sides were finding it difficult to break their opponents down.
