HAVING unexpectedly beaten leaders Dartford away, Poole returned home seeking back-toback victories for only the second time this season but failed again.
Just as the half-time whistle was about to be blown Poole failed to clear a corner and Sean Rigg’s shot went through a crowded penalty area to give Bath the lead.
Andy Watkins doubled Bath’s lead within two minutes of the restart when Joe Edwards found him unmarked in the centre to neatly finish. Poole nearly found an instant response when Marvin Brooks fierce shot was well saved.
