The visitors took te lead on six minutes as Sam Higgins put the ball in nicely for Reece Harris to slot in at the near post.
On 18 minutes Manny Adebowale knocked a chance wide after a header from Sami El- Abd bounced to him for Bognor.
Town’s Lincoln pulled out a fantastic save to deny Harry Honesty with a low strike, pushing it around the right post on 23 minutes.
