RICKY WELLARD headed in the only goal of the game as Wealdstone condemned relegated Whitehawk to a narrow defeat.
It wasn’t the ending that Steve King’s side would have hoped for after having a terrific second half of the season.
The first real chance of the game went the way of the visitors to the South coast with the impressive Jake Sheppard letting fly from just outside the area, but Hawks keeper Dan Wilks produced a fine save.
