’PLAY ON’, INSISTS FA

SEVERAL Step 5, 6 and 7 leagues have been given the green light by the FA to extend their seasons.
Most competitions have lost several Saturdays because of heavy snow and rain in the past two months.
The applicants can now extend their seasons until Saturday, May 12. But all fixtures affecting promotion or relegation issues must be completed by Monday, May 7.
The Step 7 Thames Valley Premier League has been allowed to have until Saturday, May 19, to complete its fixtures.
