A SENSATIONAL freekick from Ben McKenna gave Bradford Park Avenue victory over Brackley Town.
The hosts set the pace early on and Jake Beesley – a recent loan recruit from Salford City – forced Danny Lewis to beat away a powerful effort in the opening five minutes.
Pressure mounted on the visitors as Nicky Wroe stung Lewis’ palms and Chris Dawson forced the goalkeeper to tip over the crossbar at full stretch, but Brackley began to find their rhythm.
