The Bluebirds were quick out of the traps and inside the first 20 minutes spurned three great chances, Jack Compton worming his way through the Rocks defence and shooting wide, Nick McCootie driving a shot against the bar that may well have taken a slight deflection off the fingers of keeper Jack Giddens, and George Rigg blazing wide when well placed.
