ALVECHURCH and AFC Rushden and Diamonds battled out a hard fought draw.
It was Alvechurch who created the the first chance of the game after five minutes, with Dave Bellis forcing a save from Rushden keeper Ben Heath.
The visitors responded with Declan Rodgers free-kick needing to be saved from the impressive Paul Evans.
The fixture then became a very even affair with both sides struggling to break through.
