KARL Akinwande got the game’s only goal as Haringey secured victory.
Fresh from their away win last Saturday the Boro started brightly against a Folkestone side who also showed plenty of ambition.
Rakim Richards found space at the far post and his effort was saved well.
But in the 27th minute a one two between Mark Kirby & Akinwande on the edge of 18 yard box saw Akinwande’s great touch take him into the box and his powerful right footed effort when high into the net.
