BECK AT THE TOP

JASON Beck has been appointed manager of Spartan South Midlands Division One basement boys Hatfield Town.
Last Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at FC Broxbourne left the club propping up Division One with just one win in 17 games and only four points to their credit and five points behind second-frombottom Codicote.
Former Hatfield player Beck has had spells at Hertford Town, Royston Town and AFC Dunstable. He replaces Kevin Pearman who left at the end of September. Within a day of taking over, Beck signed seven new players.
