NEW assistant manager Matt Clarke insists he is “big enough and ugly enough” to handle any flak over his return to Redditch United – a decade after leaving the club in disgrace.
Clarke was suspended from football for 12 months and fined £3,500 in July 2010 after admitting 25 charges of breaching betting rules, 11 of which related to three matches he had played in for the Reds in 2007 and 2008.
