‘CARDS NOW HAVE A NEW LEASE OF LIFE’

I HAVE to admit, I really feared for Woking in the play-offs. After going toeto- toe with Torquay United for much of the season – they were actually more consistent than the Gulls for most of it – they fell short and then stuttered badly towards the end.
In short, they looked dead on their feet! But their comeback against Wealdstone last week has given Alan Dowson’s men a new lease of life and I think they will be too good for Welling.
