CHELMSFORD City started the new National League South campaign in fine fashion with an impressive win over Hampton & Richmond Borough.
It took the hosts only three minutes to open the scoring as Sam Higgins’ cross was unfortunately deflected into his own net by Tom Jelly.
Eight minutes later it was two when Tom Wraight did well to cutin onto his left-foot to finish calmly past goalkeeper Laurie Walker.
