CHELMSFORD City & Welling United left it late to score as both teams drew.
Both sides came close in the opening 10 minutes. Welling had penalty shouts on 15 minutes as Bradley Goldberg’s cross appeared to strike the arm of Sam Higgins. The referee was unmoved and waved the calls away.
The visitors were thanking their lucky stars on 18 minutes as keeper Dan Wilks appeared to handle the ball outside of his area. The shot-stopper got away with a yellow.
