With Jack Cawley and Krashnic Kresniqi both suspended and the absent Lamar Reynolds making way for Percy Kiangebeni, Marcel Barrington and Al-Hafeez Sanusi, the hosts were always going to face an uphill battle.
The Darts were sharpest to every ball early on, even before they took the lead. Ryan Hayes, causing issues down the right, fired straight at Chris Haigh and it was Charlie Sheringham who reacted quickest to tuck home the rebound.
