THE CRUSADERS deservedly won this rain-swept encounter at Cressing Road.
They dominated the game from start to finish and, with the chances they had, their winning margin should have been much bigger.
The win drags them off the bottom of the league while leaving the home side without a win in four league games and slipping down the table.
The visitors, looking far sharper and hungrier for the ball, opened the scoring on 19 minutes with a wicked deflected shot from Cameron McGilp that wrong-footed keeper Michael Johnson.
