Bluebirds swoop to beat nine men

A MAD four minutes just before the break did for Maidstone as they were reduced to nine men.
On 38 minutes Noah Chesmain was shown a straight red for a tackle on George Rigg, four minutes later he was followed off by skipper George Elokobi whose lunge ended Rigg’s afternoon and resulted in a Scott Twine penalty that was superbly kept out by Chris Lewington.
Never has the saying it never rains but it pours been more apt as Lewington hobbled off at half-time.
