DEFLECTION DENIES HERO EDWARDS A CLEAN SHEET

AFTER denying the Bluebirds with a series of good saves, Iron keeper Preston Edwards was finally beaten five minutes from time when a needless foul saw Joe Hanks’ free-kick from out wide fly into the net off Chippenham skipper Kieran Parselle’s knee.
Edwards had distinguished himself as early as the third minute when he superbly tipped over a header from on-loan Exeter City defender Jordan Dyer, one of four debutants for the Bluebirds.
