CHRIS Whelpdale scored against his former club as Eastbourne Borough played out a draw with Chelmsford City at Priory Lane.
The first half was evenly contested, with Phil Roberts almost putting the Clarets ahead when Adebola Oluwo picked out the forward with a long ball and after cutting inside from the left his effort was turned away by Franco Ravizzoli.
