WELLING just edged a tight encounter at Vauxhall Road to gain their first win of the season.
The result was tough on Hemel who had lots of possession and will feel they deserved at least a point
But a superb solo effort from Wings wingman Lyle Della-Verde in the second half decided the game.
Hemel dominated the early exchanges but all too often the final ball was poor and when they got it right they couldn’t find the target.
