NON-LEAGUE hard man Ben Gerring has shown he does have a soft side after all by helping to feed others less fortunate this Christmas.
The no-nonsense Woking centre-back, on loan at Oxford City, has launched the Non-League Against Child Poverty campaign and is gathering support across the country.
The 29-year-old has been collecting donations for Christmas hampers for £23 which are then distributed via Non-League clubs into their local communities.
