A tentative start was ended when the visitors took the lead. Wayward was the Luke Russe strike, which took a deflection off Richards leaving Myles Roberts no chance.
Concord played their way back into the game and came close to an equaliser. A neat move between Ryan Blackman and Danny Green found Lamar Reynolds who chipped past Will Henry but wide.
