Beach party scares Hawks

CONCORD RANGERS conquered the Hawks with a magnificent second-half display.
The visitors should have taken an early lead but Stefan Payne skied over from close range.
Havant, making good use of the wind, crafted up another good opening with Joe Oastler seeing his near-post header saved by Myles Roberts before Manny Duku’s effort cannoned off the crossbar.
The Beachboys then turned on some flair of their own, with Ben Williamson latching on to Nana Kyei’s excellent pass, but spurned his effort wide of the post.
