BRAINTREE TOWN secured a vital victory in their battle for survival at Clarence Park on Saturday, as they came out on top against play-off chasing St Albans City.
The home side started the game the brighter of the two sides, but City’s prolific top scorer Shaun Jeffers couldn’t convert as he sent two chances over the bar from inside the area in the opening half an hour.
