CRAIG TANNER scored a stunning free-kick as Ebbsfleet got back to winning ways over a side hoping to join them in the promotion shake-up.
It helped continue their amazing unbeaten run against Eastbourne, who had never beaten the Fleet in 17 previous attempts.
Shaquile Coulthirst hit the post for Ebbsfleet before Tanner, having being fouled on the edge of the box, sent a left-foot finish into the top corner beyond on-loan Portsmouth keeper Conor Manderson.
An excellent block by Trent Mahorn denied Tanner a second goal as the second half ...
