OXFORD CITY cruised home at the Velocity Stadium, against a Tonbridge Angels side who saw goalkeeper Jonny Henly sent off after ten minutes.
A long ball was handled outside the area by the visiting stopper, who was shown a straight red card by referee Marc Whaley.
With no specialist substitute keeper, right-back Jamie Fielding took the gloves.
His first action was to pick the ball out of the net as Josh Ashby drilled the free-kick into the bottom corner to give the hosts the lead.
