ST ALBANS City kept their play-offs hopes alive as they extinguished Dorking Wanderer’s title hopes with a victory at Clarence Park which confirmed Maidstone United as champions.
Both sides sparred early on but real openings proved difficult to come by during the opening half an hour.
The first attempt on target came when Shaun Jeffers tested Dan Lincoln in the Dorking Wanderers goal with a fierce strike from a tight angle.
