Jordan gets airborne to lift the Linnets to victory

KING’S LYNN Town returned to the National League North with three points, as a late Jordan Ponticelli header granted the Linnets a joyous start to the new season.
Netting on his debut, Ponticelli latched onto a teasing cross to produce a composed finish past keeper George Sykes-Kenworthy, who had been in fine form.
The Linnets were returning to the sixth tierfor the first time since 2020, while the Avenue will look to avoid being involved in the dreaded four-spot relegation zone this campaign.
