LEAMINGTON sit top of the embryonic National League North table after their biggest opening-day win for 59 years.
Dan Turner got the ball rolling with the league’s first goal of the season on ten minutes. Holding the ball up well down the left, he fed Devon Kelly-Evans, whose shot found skipper Jack Edwards at the far post. He moved the ball across goal for Turner to slam in.
