EBBSFLEET again came out on top in a repeat of last season’s play-off semi-final.
Fleet needed extra-time to see off Chippenham before missing out on promotion at Dorking.
Both sides were much changed this time around, and it proved a much easier passage for the Fleet, aided by a first-half red card for Chippenham left-back Mat Jones.
Ebbsfleet nearly got off to a flying start, Dominic Poleon went round goalkeeper Will Henry but visiting captain Spencer Hamilton got back to clear off the line.
