TAUNTON staged a second-half recovery to secure their first victory in the National League. The hosts saw an early chance go begging when Dan Ball volleyed over from Nick Grimes’ knockdown before Nick McCootie’s challenge on Darts’ keeper Dan Wilks was adjudged to have been a foul, ruling out Joe Guest’s finish into the empty net.
The visitors threatened when a free-kick found Davide Rodari, whose angled shot was parried by home keeper Jack Bycroft but all too often both sides conceded possession.
