CHIPPENHAM TOWN recorded their first victory of the season, to move out of the relegation zone. The all-important goal came 13 minutes from time courtesy of all-action midfielder Luke Russe.
The Bluebirds have had a difficult start to the season and were again disrupted before the half hour mark as they lost skipper Spencer Hamilton to injury.
Hungerford shaded the first half as Adam Liddle hit the bar on three minutes and keeper Will Henry had to be alert to grab the ball on the line. Chippenham’s first chance did not mate...
