Goddard wings it for the relentless Rebels

SLOUGH chalked off their first home win of the season, beating promoted Cheshunt.
The Rebels came out the blocks fast and in only the sixth minute, they opened the scoring. John Goddard danced past the defence, before striking his effort against the base of the post and into the back of the net.
Slough doubled their advantage thanks to a well-orchestrated move. Aaron Kuhl whipped a delightful ball into the box which Elliot Benyon headed back across for Matt Lench to fire the ball in from close range.
