ST ALBANS CITY and Taunton Town played out a draw at Clarence Park as the visitors picked up their first point on the road of the campaign.
Despite both outfits going into the game on the back of a win, clear chances proved to be hard to come by during the opening 45 minutes.
The best opening by far fell the way of Zane Banton in the 41st minute after Bycroft had parried Joe Neal’s strike into the path of the wide-man, but with the goal at his mercy Banton sent it well over the bar.
