DARTFORD missed the chance to get revenge for last season’s play-off eliminator defeat to their Wiltshire hosts as the Bluebirds put in a resilient performance to take the points.
The Darts went close on ten minutes when a mix-up allowed Dan Roberts a free run but as he rounded Will Henry the keeper held him up. Roberts could only shoot against the bar.
Chippenham replied with onloan Southampton debutant Will Tizzard having a shot blocked and Caine Bradbury superbly spun round Tom Bonner but hit wide.
