Saints take points despite just a solitary shot on goal

AN own goal by Kevin Lokko was the difference in an encounter that never quite got into top gear.
A niggly opening 20 minutes offered nothing and delivered even less.
This was until Boro’s Freddie Grant found himself wrong-sided and in panic dragged his man over for the clearest of penalties. The clinical Joe Neal rolled the resultant spot-kick down the middle of the goal to give St Albans the lead.
Rather than rising to the challenge of going behind, a poor Farnborough shrank away allowing St Albans to control the game.
