QUICKFIRE goals either side of half-time proved to be the difference as Oxford City survived a late barrage from St Albans City to take the points at the RAW Charging Stadium.
Lewis Coyle and Josh Parker were on target for the Hoops, while a debut goal from Ryan Blackman with 20 minutes to play pulled one back with a tense finale to follow.
