Rebels’ White proves so right

TWO goals by Lewis White helped Worthing maintain their play-off challenge at home to Welling.
There were chances galore at both ends as Welling tried to come back from a three-goal deficit. They pulled two back but could not complete the job.
Myles Roberts made a great save from Davide Rodari after Ollie Pearce went on a long run before Pearce opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Roberts claimed a high ball but fell over teammate Manny Parry and it fell for the Worthing man to roll into the empty net.
White doubled the Rebels’ lead...
