JAKE EVANS scored a second-half wonder goal to give Hungerford Town a deserved victory over Dover Athletic.
The first half was played at a frantic pace, Hungerford came out the traps quickly and Dan Roberts had the ball in the net inside two minutes, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Luke Kandi was denied one on one by Jed Ward, a strong hand from the goalkeeper to keep out the shot. Jake Evans’ whipped-in cross came agonisingly close to being turned home by Joel Rollinson coming in at the back post.
