SUBSTITUTE Josh Popoola’s late goal sealed the points for Cheshunt.
In the first half Cheshunt forced a number of corners and from one of them the visitors had to clear off the line three times. Shiloh Remy had a shot over the bar for Eastbourne.
The second half saw an enforced change work for Cheshunt. With Joe Re injured, Lewis Hobbs stepped into the centre to partner Fraser Alexander, the duo winning everything and driving the Ambers forward.
Eastbourne were not allowed to settle, the Ambers won the ball back high up the pitch...
